Gmail and RSS
So now Gmail supports RSS
View your favorite RSS feeds right in Gmail as “Clips” along the top of your Gmail screen. Display clips from blogs, news sites and other online sources. Pick from the latest headlines, random popular feeds, or add any RSS/Atom feed you want.

Sadly this doesn’t work yet for UK accounts (although given that I’m reading RSS feeds via Firefox, Thunderbird and Quick News for Palm it’s not entirely clear why I need another RSS reader). But then Google has been having rather odd problems with gmail in the UK.
